Staying- Curious

BUILT FROM BROADCAST, DESIGNED FOR BRANDS
We're an independent storytelling studio shaped by broadcast, editorial thinking and brand strategy.
As creative partners, we develop ideas, characters and formats for connected story ecosystems. We stay curious, looking for the niche cultural spaces and human stories that make brand storytelling feel distinct and memorable.

BRINGING BROADCAST THINKING TO BRAND STORIES

We use the techniques of documentary, series and broadcast storytelling to place brand values inside character, choice and emotional stakes. So the meaning is not just stated, it’s felt through the story.

Jamie Balliu
Creative Director
Finds the bigger story hiding in data, culture, and the spaces between.

Born in Eastern Sydney and shaped in East London, Jamie began his career directing award-winning brand campaigns and channel identities for Channel 4 Music, MTV and the BBC.
He later moved into documentary, cultural storytelling and emerging technology, developing crossmedia projects with live debating platforms, VR experiences where audiences create real-time symphonies, and feature documentaries exploring the hidden worlds of digital culture.
Alongside his practice, Jamie has mentored emerging filmmakers and producers across Europe, helping them find the fresh theme, form and character in their work.
Now back in Australia, he brings a filmmaker’s instinct for tone and structure, and a strategist’s eye for stories with cultural relevance.
